Rachel Unitt insists there is no time for England to reflect on their World Cup exploits in China last month as they face a crunch Euro 2009 qualifier with Belarus tomorrow.

It will be the Three Lions''second Euro qualifier, after they defeated Northern Ireland 3-0 in May, but their first encounter since losing a World Cup quarter finals to the USA in Tianjin just a month ago.

That 3-0 defeat was broadcast on mainstream television as the English public once again warmed to women's football and Unitt knows the opportunity is there to capitalise on a feel-good factor.

With Charlton's ladies experiencing financial difficulties in the summer, the success of the national team has given the game a huge fillip and Unitt is aware the momentum must be maintained.

"This game is going to be vitally important,"Unitt said. "It's the first after the World Cup, and we need a great performance and we need goals. Everyone is ready now; we are back on it now and back in training ready for Belarus."

The fixture at the Banks's Stadium is particularly special for Unitt who, despite playing for Everton, was born and bred just two minutes from Walsall's ground.

A sell-out crowd of around 10,000 is expected and Unitt wants to make an impact so that the England women's roadshow continues to roll forward. "A lot of people will have watched us in the World Cup on BBC, and the game at Walsall is pretty much a sell-out," Unitt added.

"I think it's fantastic that so many fans are going to be coming out to support us, and it would be nice for us to put on a good display for the fans and get some goals - that's what the fans want to see.

"I'm really excited obviously; I only live two minutes away from here. To play in my hometown, and I'll have a lot of family and friends coming down to watch, will be very special. We played here two years ago and I got 90 minutes and was lucky enough to score two goals. So hopefully I'll get some playing time this time and try and get on the scoresheet again.

"That has to be one of my most memorable games for my country, I remember the atmosphere that day being special. There was only seven or eight thousand there that day, so it looks like we'll have a few more this time so it should be even better."

Unitt's Everton team mate Jill Scott is hoping that her own meteoric rise to fame continues as England go in search of three Euro 2009 qualifying points.

Scott helped Everton make it into Europe for the first time in their history with a late surge to second place. She also made her first competitive start against Germany, in the only match of the tournament that the eventual winners failed to win, scoring against Argentina in a 6-1 win and gaining the invaluable experience of playing almost 300 minutes in World Cup football.

"I'm so proud of what we achieved," Scott said, who now boasts 11 England caps. "Looking back on it now, it was such a big opportunity and probably the biggest experience of my life. It was just great to be so involved, when I went away I wasn't expecting to play that much, I had the mindset that if I got ten minutes or so I would be delighted.

"It was absolutely amazing to be involved in all the games and obviously getting to the quarter finals was fantastic, and a great achievement as well. Obviously Germany went on to win the competition and we were the only team they didn't beat, so I think that's an achievement in itself."
