Bristol City defender Christian Ribeiro is making good progress from the knee ligament injury he suffered in the League Cup victory over Peterborough back in August.
The 19-year-old, who is unlikely to play again this season, believes his side have a point to prove when they travel to Plymouth on Tuesday.
He told the Bristol Evening Post: "I had a meeting with the specialist on Monday and my knee is ready to train on, which is fantastic news."
He added: "I will keep running and kicking balls to get in great shape and start training again.
"Plymouth are another team around our position. If we want to push on, we've got to win the game, but it will be a tough game.
"We didn't play well against them earlier in the season, so we've got a bit to prove and our confidence is very high at the minute."
