Leyton Orient have signed Tottenham keeper Ben Alnwick on a one-month loan.

The former Sunderland stopper has been called in as cover, with Orient keepers Jamie Jones and David Button both sidelined with injury.

"Ben was a near-million pound player when he went from Sunderland to Spurs and he's had Premier League experience," Os boss Russell Slade told the club's official website.

"He's a keeper with pedigree and quality and we're looking forward to working with him."

Alnwick becomes the Os third Friday signing, joining striker Kevin Lisbie and midfielder Tom Clarke at Brisbane Road.
