Brentford boss Andy Scott spent 40 minutes tearing into his side after their 3-0 defeat at Exeter.

The Bees
have won just one of their last five, and are hovering just above the drop zone after a bright start to the season in League One.

"I need more than 40 minutes in the dressing room, that's for sure. It's a case of them actually believing what we did last season and the beginning of this season which was the right thing.

“At the moment, we have players in the side that are not sticking to the game plan and all of a sudden we fall apart. I am not going to pick out individuals or say what we feel is going wrong, but it's clear that something is going wrong.

“Then we work on it in training and we get it right and then all of a sudden it doesn't work.

"There are always questions asked about the players that are playing, but even more so now because we are losing goals and in the same areas, doing the same things and we keep conceding stupid free kicks.

"I have no complaints about the result, but I have a lot about the way we played because it is happening time and time again. I have made it pretty clear that if someone is not doing what they should be doing, it is unacceptable."

He added: "The way we play, it's vital that all 11 components know how the other ones in the team are going to play. As soon as someone starts doing their own thing you play into the opposition's hands."
