Defender Zoumana Bakayogo has extended his contract at Tranmere until the end of the season.

The 23-year old, who joined Rovers earlier this term, has been an ever-present since Les Parry took charge and won several man-of-the-match awards.

Parry said: "I'm really pleased Zoom has agreed to stay with us. He has done very well for us at left back over the past couple of months."

Zoumana added: "I'm very happy to have signed. I really like this club and the players and I'm happy here.

"I enjoy every day on the training ground and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season."
