Tranmere skipper Ian Thomas-Moore has urged the club's hierarchy to find a permanent replacement for John Barnes as soon as possible.
Physio Les Parry has been in the job on a caretaker basis since Barnes was sacked over a month ago. And Thomas-Moore admits the lack of a permanent manager is having a negative effect on the team.
"I think the situation is affecting us. It is a little bit unsettling. It needs addressing and it needs doing sooner rather than later," he said. "Whether Les gets the job full-time or someone else comes in, it needs sorting out one way or the other. It is affecting the players. Hopefully something will happen soon."
