Rotherham midfielder Mark Bradley is set to go under the knife to repair his shoulder injury.

The 23-year-old sustained a dislocated shoulder in last week's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat against local rivals Sheffield United and manager Andy Scott confirmed he would need surgery.

"There is a lot of damage to the shoulder and we have to make sure we treat it right," Scott told the club's official website last week.

"It's a massive blow for him and us.

"He's a good pro and he works hard. To get it done now would be better than to rehab it for the next month."

Bradley will have the procedure on Tuesday and faces four months on the sidelines.
