Gus Poyet's Brighton moved closer to the npower League One title as Glenn Murray's 59th-minute strike earned the Seagulls a 1-0 win at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Murray's winner moved his side 13 points clear at the top with a game in hand over second-placed Huddersfield, while the loss leaves the Daggers perched just one point outside the relegation zone.

Jason Kennedy and Craig Dawson scored to keep Rochdale's slim play-off hopes alive as they took advantage of free-falling Charlton to secure a 2-0 win at Spotland.

Sheffield Wednesday still have real relegation fears after a dismal 3-1 loss to Brentford at Hillsborough, while Jonathan Obika's 59th-minute strike earned Yeovil a 1-0 win over Carlisle.

Swindon remain in deeper trouble with their 1-0 defeat at Exeter leaving them seven points off safety. Ryan Harley slotted home a 79th-minute penalty after Calvin Andrew's foul on Richard Duffy.
