Norwich have completed the signings of Preston winger Simon Whaley and Crystal Palace defender Rhoys Wiggins.

The duo have both signed two-year contracts at Carrow Road after moving for undisclosed fees and will boost manager Bryan Gunn's squad ahead of the League One season.

Gunn told the club's official website: "It's great to have secured the signatures of these two players."

He added: "Simon can play on the right, left and through the centre so he gives us plenty of attacking options and he has all the attributes you'd expect from a wide man.

"Rhoys is predominantly a left-back and he is a player who likes to get forward."
