Bournemouth have completed the signing of Havant and Waterlooville attacking midfielder Wes Fogden.

Fogden, the Havant supporters' player of the year for the past two seasons, agreed terms with the Cherries on Wednesday night and put pen to paper on the deal on Thursday.

The initial agreement between the clubs is an emergency loan, although Bournemouth do have a view to making the switch permanent in January.

The 23-year-old began his career as a trainee at Brighton, but only featured four times during his two-and-a-half year stint at the Withdean Stadium before joining Dorchester.

Fogden moved to Havant in February 2008, and has since scored 29 times in 106 appearances for the Hawks before Bournemouth started to show their interest.
