Northampton earned themselves a third-round trip to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup after seeing off the threat of Nationwide Conference Stevenage at Sixfields.Striker Scott McGleish was the difference between the two teams, scoring twice just before half-time to ease Northampton through.His first was dispatched left-footed from close range past Borough´s Alan Julian in the 44th minute, with McGleish then heading home Martin Smith´s corner in stoppage-time to stun Stevenage, a shock from which they could not recover in a goalless second half.
