Colchester goalkeeper Mark Cousins has signed a new two-year contract.

The 24-year-old started the season as first-choice keeper at the Community Stadium but eventually lost his place to Ben Williams.

However, Cousins has accepted the club's offer of a new deal and joins Steven Gillespie, John White and Andy Bond in committing his future to the Us.
