Derby striker Liam Dickinson has revealed that extending his loan with League One side Huddersfield was an "easy decision".

The former Stockport frontman has scored two goals in five appearances for the Terriers since his loan move at the end of August.

He told the Derby Evening Telegraph: "It was an easy decision to stay."

"I talked to Paul Jewell about extending my loan and, given that I wouldn't be getting into the Derby side at the moment, he said the decision was down to me.

"I'm enjoying my time at the club and I'm playing regularly so I'm happy to stay. There's still more to come from me."
