Leeds' teenager Fabian Delph continues to hog the headlines at Elland Road after the 18-year-old struck two fantastic goals in the 3-0 win at home to Walsall. "They were brilliant strikes - he has this fine left foot. But his all round qualities were very much on show," said United boss Gary McAllister.
"Fab is no secret any more. His goals were fantastic strikes. A left-footer tends to look a wee bit more graceful to the eye, maybe because there are not many of them about. We call him Fab and I don't need to explain why. You all saw it for yourselves."
Meanwhile, Walsall manager Jimmy Mullen also paid tribute to Delph, adding: "They were two excellent strikes by the boy, which I put down to the quality of the player."
Leicester boss Nigel Pearson, meanwhile, admitted his side were below par after being booed off the pitch following their 0-0 draw at home to Northampton at the Walkers Stadium.
"I understand the supporters' frustration and we will improve. I know we haven't been hitting the heights like we were earlier in the season but I still have every faith in the players," said Pearson.
John Sheridan was another manager not best pleased with his side's display and the Oldham boss has threatened to yield the axe after their 2-0 defeat at Swindon. "Some of my players seem to be in a comfort zone and I'm not having that at my club.
"They think they can just walk straight into the team every week without producing performances," he said. "But that's not the way it is going to be and they will find out this week that I will make changes."
