Brighton defender James Tunnicliffe has extended his loan at MK Dons by a further month.

The centre-back has already impressed during his six appearances for the Dons and boss Paul Ince is delighted to have secured his services until April 11.

Ince told his club's official website: "It's good news for us; we thought Tunny's goal (against Swindon) on Tuesday night was going to be a parting gift, but we're delighted to have him for another month."

He added: "We can't afford to rush Sean O'Hanlon and Matty Doumbe back from injury and Tunny has been different class for us since he came in, so it made sense to keep him if we could.

"He's only young, but he's a great lad and he's happy to stay here so it's a good outcome for everyone."
