Aaron Doran wants to extend his loan deal at MK Dons after making an immediate impact for Paul Ince’s men.

The 18-year-old, currently on a month’s loan deal from Blackburn, scored on his debut against Southend in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday and is already relishing the opportunity to play first team football.

Doran told the Milton Keynes Citizen: "I want to get some games and help Dons push up the table as far as I can while I am here.

"If I can get an extension that would be great and I hope I can do that.

"It was an easy decision to come here. The reserve team manager at Rovers called me in and I decided straight away that I wanted to go. He told me last Friday and then I was here by Sunday.

"It was great to play well, score a goal on my debut and to get the man of the match prize from the sponsors. I couldn't have dreamed of much more.

"The Dons have got some good players and we played some good football so hopefully we can keep it up.”
