Leicester extended their lead at the top of Coca-Cola League One with a 4-0 victory over Peterborough.

The visitors started the game in fourth but the Foxes went ahead in the sixth minute through Craig Morgan's own goal and they did not look back.

Jack Hobbs passed from the right was converted by Matt Fryatt from close range before Andy King confirmed victory for Leicester with a close-range conversion of Oakley's pass, with Steve Howard curling in a shot in in the final minute.



MK Dons moved into the automatic promotion places with a 3-1 victory over Leeds. Aaron Wilbraham scored a brace and Sean O'Hanlon was on target for the Dons while Robert Snodgrass scored for Leeds.

Millwall dropped to third after they were unable to find a way past bottom side Crewe although the goalless draw still leaves Alex seven points, and considerable goal difference, from safety. Scunthorpe moved one place up to fourth after a 0-0 draw at Colchester.

Craig Davies claimed a hat-trick as Stockport moved into fifth with a 3-1 win against Bristol Rovers. Oldham stay in sixth after a 1-1 draw with Orient.

Tranmere moved up to eighth after Anthony Kay secured victory with an injury-time goal.

Huddersfield claimed a 2-0 win over Hereford through Nathan Clarke and Gary Roberts.

Carlisle dropped to just one point off the relegation zone following a 1-0 defeat at Northampton, Jason Crowe scoring for the Cobblers.

Cheltenham picked up a vital point in their fight against relegation with a goalless draw with Walsall while Yeovil claimed a 3-2 win at Swindon as the pair met in a crucial relegation fight.
