Relegation from the Premiership cost Leicester almost £3.5million last season. The Foxes gained promotion to the top flight under Micky Adams in 2003 despite a four-month period of financial administration, but 12 months later the club were relegated - although their coffers had been boosted by £4.8million in profits.Championship football and a failure to challenge for promotion under Adams´ successor, Craig Levein, has since cost the club dear though with the Foxes confirming a loss for the 12 months to May of £3,482,000.
