Carlisle manager Greg Abbott admits it is unclear whether striker Danny Graham will be at the club next season.

The out-of-contract 23-year-old, who bagged 16 goals this season, is currently mulling over the offer of a new contract with the club and is expected to have another meeting with Abbott this week to discuss his future.

The United boss told BBC Radio Cumbria: "We'll sit around a table and try and get an idea of whether he wants to commit to it or look elsewhere. We are just hopeful that we can at least get a resolve to it.

"There is no stumbling block at the minute. We are waiting to see what Danny wants to do with it really. We are on hold with things until we find out that, but we will sit down and talk with him and discuss it and we see where we go from there."

Abbott added: "We have got plenty of people if Danny does decide to ply his trade elsewhere. Obviously there are issues to go with that. It is what sort of money we can get for Danny. There are five or six names that are available that won't be available all summer."

Abbott is still optimistic defender David Raven will pen a new two-year deal when he returns from holiday and expects to know for sure within the next week to 10 days.
