Leeds boss Simon Grayson had paid tribute to striker Luciano Becchio after he was voted the League One PFA Fans' Player of the Month for February.
Becchio hit form during February after scoring a crucial brace against Oldham that handed Leeds a second win in nine matches. He also scored again at Huddersfield in last weekend's 2-2 draw and Grayson is expecting more of the same as the season reaches its climax.
Grayson said: "It has been a difficult season for Luciano because after starting the season he was out for six to eight weeks with an ankle injury."
Grayson added: "Trying to recapture his form has been difficult but he got a couple of goals a few weeks ago at Hartlepool which kicked him on.
"I left him out when we played Walsall because he had played a lot of games but he showed the quality we know he possesses. Hopefully now he has the confidence and belief to go on and get another six to ten goals to help us win promotion."
