Simon Grayson is hoping Leeds can finally banish their play-off nightmare when they take on Millwall in the semi-finals this week.

United were defeated in the inaugural campaign of the play-offs in 1987 and also suffered heartache in 2006 in Cardiff and 2008 at Wembley, but Grayson is hoping to turn their luck around and guide Leeds to the Championship.

"Of course I want to make it fourth time lucky," he told the club`s official website.

"We`ve got two tough games against Millwall coming up now and that`s our focus.

"We`ve lost one in 14 and that was a last-minute goal, so we have to be happy with what we`re doing."
