Simon Grayson believes Leeds may face a nervy time holding onto their automatic promotion spot after their 2-2 draw with neighbours Huddersfield.
United came from behind to lead 2-1 in the second half thanks to goals from Jonny Howson and Luciano Becchio but they had to settle for a draw thanks to a late equaliser from Gary Roberts. And Grayson, whose side have not won in Huddersfield since 1963, feels the result could give rivals like Charlton a boost ahead of the run-in.
"I thought it was a fair result and it is another point onto our tally. But the lead has tightened up and I believe that all of the top six are in with a shout of going up automatically," he said.
"I clearly would have preferred a win to make it a bit more difficult for teams to catch us. But it is another game gone, another match without defeat, and so it's one less match for them to do it in."
He added: "I thought we looked a major threat after we went 2-1 up. We tried to get that third goal but it just would not come for us. You have to give credit for the way Huddersfield played. They got the better of us in the first half and came back very strongly when they went behind."
