Gregan rejoins Latics

By PA Sport  June 25, 2009

Oldham boss Dave Penney has re-signed former captain Sean Gregan after the defender was initially released last month.

The 35-year-old was released due to financial reasons but Penney offered the centre-back a new one-year-deal after circumstances at the club changed.

Gregan has made 82 appearances for the club and scored one goal since joining from Leeds in 2006 and is Penney's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Rob Purdie, Jon Worthington and Joe Jacobson.
