Colchester midfielder David Perkins has completed his loan switch to Stockport.
The 27-year-old has only recently returned to Essex from a loan spell at Chesterfield and is now linking up with the Hatters until the end of the season.
Perkins is expected to go straight into Stockport's squad for their clash with Swindon on Tuesday night.
