Luke Howell has been discharged from hospital after suffering mild concussion in MK Dons' penalty shootout defeat to Scunthorpe in the League One play-off semi-final.
The midfielder was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital as a precaution following a first-half clash of heads with his Scunthorpe counterpart Liam Trotter.
The 22-year-old underwent routine examinations before being allowed to leave hospital in the early hours of Saturday morning.
