On-loan Oldham goalkeeper Shane Supple has returned to Ipswich for treatment after sustaining a knee injury over the Easter period.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international incurred the problem in the Latics` draw at Carlisle on Good Friday.

The injury forced Supple to miss Oldham`s home game against Crewe on Easter Monday.

Ipswich physio Matt Byard told the Championship club`s official website: "Shane is back here to be assessed and receive treatment."

Supple joined Joe Royle's side on loan until the end of the season.
