London mayor Ken Livingstone criticised a decision by Italian football giants Inter Milan to cancel a pre-season tour of England over safety fears.

The Serie A team were due to play Leicester on Monday night and play three further friendlies against Crystal Palace, Norwich and Portsmouth.

Mr Livingstone said: "The terrorists I am sure will be celebrating their decision. We cannot allow the terrorists to change the way we live or they will be very close to achieving their aim."
