Millwall boss Kenny Jackett admitted his side were "in the mix" for promotion after the Lions came from behind to claim a surprise 2-1 win over leaders Norwich.

Norwich opened the scoring through Chris Martin's low curling free-kick after just four minutes but goals from Tony Craig and Neil Harris turned the game on its head and saw Jackett's men move up to fifth in League One.

Jackett said: "I'm really pleased that such a good crowd came out and we've rewarded them with a good game and most importantly a win. We are fifth in the league and not doing badly at all."

He added: "Most importantly our season is in front of us as we are genuinely in the mix with a number of other clubs.

"I don't know why we perform better against the bigger clubs in the division as we prepare in the same way for each team.

"In the second half we upped it a gear and managed to negate them and get at them. It's been a really good day for us."

Jackett was also delighted with the performance of Harris, he added: "Neil made a big contribution. He's had a stop-start season with injuries and I have to monitor it carefully. I always thought he would be better coming on than going off (against Norwich).

"It wasn't just about the goal, his overall performance was very good."

Norwich boss Paul Lambert refused to reach for the panic button after the defeat and said: "The lads have been brilliant, as one defeat in nearly four months shows. It was difficult (against Millwall) but we will bounce back.

"We knew it would be a hard game and there wasn't much in it. Grant Holt will be back next week and we'll try and win the next game."
