There has been a lot of publicity surrounding Chelsea's unbeaten start to the Premiership campaign, but there is actually one other Football League side yet to taste defeat in their respective league - Wycombe Wanderers. John Gorman's men are currently top of League Two, a point clear of Leyton Orient with Grimsby a further point adrift in third. On Saturday, Wanderers will be hoping to extend their lead when they entertain Peterborough and givemefootball's Mark Shail got the thoughts of battling midfielder Joe Burnell.

Q:YOU MUST BE PLEASED WITH THE START THIS SEASON?

A:Yes, very much so, we've played some good stuff and I think we deserve to be where we are in the table. We like to get the ball down and play the right way and so far it has been working very well.

Q:WHAT'S IT LIKE WORKING WITH JOHN GORMAN?

A:He's brilliant – he's been a breath of fresh and the lads love his man-management side of things. Everyone knows that John has always looked to play a passing game and he will never change his principles.

Q:IS IT HARD TO PLAY A PASSING GAME IN LEAGUE TWO?

A:Sometime teams make it hard for us. For example, we played Lincoln recently and they are a very direct, very good at pressing and closing down their opponents. But we've got a bit more experience in the side this season and so far we've coped very well. Funnily enough, we have found it more difficult at home this season because teams know how we are going to play so quite often they sit back, get numbers behind the ball, and we have to try to break them down.

Q:YOU SUFFERED FROM GLANDULAR FEVER LAST SEASON, ARE YOU FULLY RECOVERED FROM THAT NOW?

A:Thankfully yes, last season was a difficult time for me because I always felt it was there lurking in my system and because my style of play is centred around me getting around the pitch it affected my game. But I'm over that now and enjoying my football – in fact I've only missed one game so far this season because of a bad back.

Q:HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR TARGETS THIS SEASON AFTER YOUR GOOD START?

A:No, we said at the beginning of the season that we wanted to win the league and that hasn't changed. We felt we under-achieved last year by not making the play-offs but the squad is much stronger this season and there is no reason whey we can't make a real challenge. I know we're top of the league at the moment, but there have been games we've drawn that we definitely should have won. In fact, there have been some heated exchanges in the dressing room amongst the players after we have dropped points but that's not a bad thing – it shows how much we care.

Q:HOW GOOD IS YOUR STRIKER NATHAN TYSON?

A:He's got great pace and will definitely score 20 goals in this league, no problem. I was pleased to see that he didn't move to Sheffield Wednesday this week because he is a very important player for us. If he does go we will have to replace him and that won't be easy to do.

Q:AND PETERBOROUGH THIS WEEKEND, WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

A:There was a lot of talk before the start of the season about them being promotion contenders and they've had a reasonable start. I'm sure it will be a very tough game but if we can get the first goal the game should open up then and that would suit our style of play.
