Leyton Orient assistant manager Kevin Nugent is confident goalkeeper Jamie Jones will bounce back from his costly mistake in the 3-1 defeat at Charlton.

The score was 1-1 when Jones inexplicably threw the ball straight at Charlton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips, who smashed it straight back past him and into the net.

"Obviously Jamie is as disappointed as the rest of the lads are," said Nugent.

"He has put his hands up and said it was a bad mistake, but it is just one of those things.

"He's had a very good season for us and unfortunately with keepers when they do make a mistake, it tends to cost.

"But he is a young lad, a good keeper, and I'm sure he will get over it."
