MK Dons boss Paul Ince has used his influence at Blackburn by signing Rovers midfielder Aaron Doran on a one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old, who has made three first team appearances for Blackburn, played under Dons manager Paul Ince when he was in charge at Ewood Park.

Dorran could make his debut for the Dons in tonight’s Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Southend. The Republic of Ireland Under-19 international will stay at Stadium MK until November 2.

Aldershot

Down in League Two, Aldershot manager Gary Waddock has rubbished speculation linking him to the vacant manager's position at Luton Town.

Hatters' boss Mick Harford left the Blue Square Premier club by mutual consent last week and a host of names are in the melting pot to replace him at Kenilworth Road.

Waddock, who played 153 times for Luton, told BBC Surrey: "I'm extremely happy and under contract. I'm extremely pleased with what we're doing here. Rumour and speculation in this football world is incredible.

"There'll be loads of people put forward for the job. I'm disappointed for Mick Harford and the situation that he faced during the time he was in charge. He had to put up with a hell of a lot and I thought he did an extremely good job."
