Oldham have handed their fans a £1million incentive ahead of the World Cup this summer.
Latics directors have come up with a scheme in which season-ticket holders will receive a 100% refund on the cost of their ticket in the event of the national team triumphing in South Africa.
Guy Walker, Oldham's sales and marketing manager, told the club's official website: "This is a great way for our fans to back England to win the World Cup for the first time in 44 years."
He added: "Hopefully it will provide an incentive big and powerful enough for fans to purchase season tickets for 2010/11."
To be eligible, fans have been informed that they must purchase their season tickets before May 29.
Near-neighbours Burnley ran an equally successful scheme last season whereby fans were offered a full refund should the club be promoted to the Barclays Premier League.
