Leeds chief executive Shaun Harvey claims the Championship club are "disappointed" with Olivier Bernard after he turned his back on the club and rejoined Newcastle. The French defender, 26, had his contract at Rangers cancelled and, as a free agent, signed for the Magpies. However, Leeds believed they had all but secured Bernard´s signature after agreeing terms with him.Harvey said: "Terms were agreed with the player for him to join Leeds, subject only to him passing a medical. The player has since reneged on the agreement reached and joined Newcastle United. We are, both disappointed and relieved, as we would have very much liked Olivier Bernard to strengthen our squad."
