Leeds are still in talks with Leicester about bringing Max Gradel back to Elland Road and hope to draft in "maybe one or two faces" before the end of the transfer window.
Gradel, 22, has returned to the Walkers Stadium following the expiry of his loan spell at Leeds, where he made 16 appearances.
"Talks are ongoing. He's Leicester's player, they were good enough to let him come here for a period and we're talking with them," said Leeds boss Simon Grayson.
"We're looking to see if something can be done, whether that be an end of season loan or a permanent I don't know. We'll see how things go."
He added: "We're ongoing with things both in and out. I'd like to bring in maybe one or two faces and there could be one or two go.
"Hopefully by the time the window shuts we might have a few fresh faces for the final push but as I've always said, I'll only do something if I believe it's right for us and not just for the sake for it."
