Leyton Orient can welcome back goalkeeper Jamie Jones for the visit of Huddersfield.

Jones missed last weekend's 2-0 win over Walsall due to a back injury, but he is fit again and will challenge Glenn Morris for the gloves.

Skipper Stephen Purches will need a late fitness check after coming off against the Saddlers with a tight calf.

Andrew Cave-Brown replaced Purches at right-back and will deputise again if needed.

Boss Geraint Williams has an otherwise fully-fit squad to choose from and will not want to stray too far from the line-up which ended their seven-game winless run.

Sean Thornton will expect to keep his place in midfield ahead of Jimmy Smith after bagging both goals against Walsall.

Huddersfield striker Lee Novak has been ruled out for a fortnight and will miss the clash.

Novak, who sustained the injury in last week's home defeat to Norwich, is one of three forwards missing for Lee Clark's side as Nathan Eccleston, on loan from Liverpool, sits out the second of a three-game ban, while Robbie Simpson is struggling with a thigh strain.

Theo Robinson, who last appeared in the starting line-up in October, is therefore expected to be given his chance alongside leading goalscorer Jordan Rhodes.

Clark could be tempted to make further changes after a run of three straight league defeats that has seen his side fall five points adrift of the play-offs, with Nathan Clarke, Robbie Williams, Tom Clarke, James Berrett and Antony Kay all pushing for first-team recalls.
