MK Dons have confirmed that Miguel Angel Llera will leave the club this summer after failing to agree an extended contract with the League One side.

The Spanish defender joined the Dons from Hercules CF on a one-year deal last August but now becomes a free agent with immediate effect.

A statement on the club's official website read: "The club would like to place on record it's thanks to Miguel for his contribution during his season with us and wish him the best of luck with his future career."

Meanwhile, the club are still in talks with Carl Regan, Danny Swailes and Mark Wright over new contracts.
