Richard Logan came off the bench to snatch a late equaliser for Exeter in a 2-2 draw which dealt a heavy blow to Wycombe`s fading hopes of League One survival.

Gareth Ainsworth and Stuart Beavon had struck earlier in the second half to give Wanderers a lead but a quick reply from Liam Sercombe pulled City back into it.

The Chairboys made their breakthrough soon after half-time when a bad miss-kick left Ainsworth through on goal and the midfielder made no mistake in slotting home his first for Wanderers.

Wycombe quickly doubled the lead when Keates produced a great ball to put Beavon in behind the Grecians defence and the striker squeezed his finish under Paul Jones.

City responded straight away though when Sercombe picked up the ball 25 yards out and sent a fantastic effort past Tom Heaton into the top corner.

Exeter pushed hard for a late equaliser and got their reward when Logan`s pace allowed him to sprint through Wycombe`s backline and grab a point for his side with a calm finish.
