Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric believes the club has the potential to be a top 10 Premier League side in the not too distant future.

The Foxes celebrated winning the League One title with two games to spare when they beat Southend 2-0 at Roots Hall on Saturday and the owner sees no reason why the club could not be celebrating promotion again this time next season.

Manager Nigel Pearson has guided Leicester back into the Championship at the first time of asking after losing just four league games so far this season.

Mandaric told Sky Sports News: "Leicester is a huge club with tremendous support. With all fairness I think it is a Premier League club and a good Premier League club.

"I cannot see why when Leicester are in the Premier League they won't be one of the top 10 clubs. It is realistic, and the sooner the better."
