Norwich striker Goran Maric has left the club by mutual consent.

The Serbian forward was one of a host of players signed in the summer by former manager Bryan Gunn after he impressed during the pre-season tour of Scotland.

However, the 25-year-old made just two appearances for the first team and has now had his contract terminated.

Manager Paul Lambert said: "It is in Goran's best interests to move on and try to progress his career elsewhere.

"We wish him all the best for the future."
