Norwich are without hot shot Grant Holt for the final game of his three-match suspension whilst the Lions are still missing long-term absentee Gary Alexander.

However, Chris Martin has ensured that Holt’s absence hasn’t been too damaging as he has continued to find the net with Norwich now sitting on top of League One after a storming run.

But they will face an acid test in SE16 where the Lions are in a purple patch of form and five gems unbeaten has seen them advance into the play-off zone.

The hangover they suffered from last season’s play-off final defeat seems to be well and truly behind them now and they will want to claim a big scalp in the form of Norwich.

Lions star Batt admits he could have been a Canary

Millwall's on loan striker Shaun Batt insisted he could well have been tormenting the Lions tomorrow as he was linked with a transfer window move to Carrow Road.

The 22-year-old Peterborough striker – who is currently on loan and scoring goals at the New Den – was touted for a move to East Anglia but insisted he is happy with Kenny Jackett’s men.

“I did hear those rumours but as a player you hear a lot of rumours,” Batt told the Eastern Daily Press.

“But you learn as a footballer that until something concrete happens then you just put things like that to the back of your mind and carry on playing - which is what I did.

“My brother was actually at Norwich in the youth team for five or six years and when Aidy Boothroyd was there he gave me a trial for a couple of weeks.

“There was some interest around and it was a difficult decision to drop back down to League One because you want to play at the highest level you can and prove yourself.

“I'd made quite a few Championship appearances this season and felt I could do a job.

I know I'm more than good enough to get back to that level but dropping down to League One for the rest of the season is not a problem for me. I think it can only do a lot for my game and bring me on again.

“It has gone well for me personally and the team is unbeaten so far.”
