Tranmere striker Chris Greenacre could be sidelined for two to six weeks after suffering another injury setback.

The 31-year-old had been out since December with a foot injury before marking his comeback in John Achterberg's testimonial against an Everton XI on Monday.

But the unlucky forward was forced off during the first half after sustaining suspected medial ligament damage.

The full extent of the problem is not yet known but Greenacre looks likely to face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, the testimonial finished 3-0 in the Toffees' favour as Rovers fans turned up to support goalkeeper Achterberg in his 11th season with the League One outfit.
