Charlton have signed Michael Morrison from Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old defender has agreed a three-year deal at The Valley to become the club's 13th new arrival this summer.

Addicks boss Chris Powell told the club's official website: "Michael is a player I know very well from my time at Leicester."

He added: "He came from Cambridge to Leicester in League One and played nearly all season.

"He knows the level and was fine with it and in the Championship as well.

"He's a player I know I can trust. He has already got 100 games behind him and I think he's a player who can do well for us. It's great to have him on board."
