Brentford manager Andy Scott has drafted in his third loan signing in six days by landing Arsenal starlet Rhys Murphy.

The 19-year-old striker has agreed a three-month deal at Griffin Park and has gone straight into the squad for their clash at Wycombe.

"Rhys is another good signing for us. He has a lot of potential, so much so he is seen as a future first-team player at Arsenal," said Scott.

Murphy joins Ipswich defender Pim Balkestein and his Gunners team-mate, goalkeeper Wojiech Szczesny, is agreeing loan deals with the Bees ahead of Thursday's deadline.
