Norwich and Brighton have been charged £3,000 each by the Football Association for failing to control their players.
Both clubs were charged with "failure to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour."
The fines were handed for a brawl that broke out following an altercation between Darel Russell and Seagulls winger Dean Cox.
Norwich - who won the game 4-1 were handed the fine, warned as to their future conduct and ordered to pay adjusted costs. Brighton were also handed the same punishment for their part in the melee.
