Sheffield Wednesday boss Alan Irvine is monitoring the progress of trialist Adriano Moke after the youngster made an impressive start to the npower League One side's pre-season campaign.

Moke was given a run-out for a Sheffield Wednesday XI against Stocksbridge Park Steels on Tuesday after Giles Coke pulled out through injury.

He told the club's official website: "Adriano is a product of the Glenn Hoddle Academy and we're taking a look at him."

He added: "I was at Hallam FC on Tuesday, but I am told that he did well against Stocksbridge, so we'll continue to see what he can do."
