Sheffield Wednesday have swooped to secure the services of Nottingham Forest striker David McGoldrick on an emergency loan.
The 23-year-old, who signed for Forest in 2009 for £1million from Southampton, joins the Owls on a short-term deal until October 16.
McGoldrick will go straight into Gary Megson's squad for Saturday`s clash with Yeovil at Huish Park.
