Charlton manager Phil Parkinson felt his side were robbed of victory after Grant Holt's controversial injury-time equaliser for Norwich was allowed to stand.
The Canaries completed a superb comeback from 2-0 down in the dying moments when Holt shrugged off the challenge of goalkeeper Rob Elliot to nod home Chris Martin's deflected cross from the left.
Parkinson felt the big striker had been guilty of a blatant foul and was furious when referee Steve Tanner waved away his team's protests. ``I think everyone in the ground apart from the referee thought it was a foul,'' he said.
``You expect opposition centre-forwards to go for balls like that - but you also expect officials to make the correct decision and award a free-kick.
``The lads put in a tremendous effort and that was very hard to take - but you've just got to take it on the chin and move on to the next game.
``This is a difficult place to come to because Norwich are a decent side, and at the end of the day we'll take the point. We're still unbeaten after eight games and that's a terrific start to the season. The players deserve great credit for the way they have performed so far.
``I can't fault their commitment and honesty, although at times we did give the ball away a little too cheaply. Norwich had a real go at us and we stood up to it really well and almost came away with three points.''
