Charlton boss Phil Parkinson is confident his side can make a winning start to life in League One as they aim to bounce straight back from last season's relegation.

The Addicks will kick off their campaign with a home clash against newly-promoted Wycombe at The Valley on Saturday, August 8.

"It's a decent start for us and I'm pleased to get a home game for the first match," Parkinson told the club's official website.

"Obviously they're a newly-promoted team so it's a good fixture for us."
