Oldham manager Dave Penney was left fuming after seeing his side slip to a 1-0 defeat at home to Huddersfield.

Robbie Williams blasted the only goal of the game from a free-kick to end the Terriers' run of four straight away defeats.

He said: "Either our wall or our keeper wasn't set up right but we should not have been in that situation anyway. We had tried to play a quick set-piece that wasn't on and it led to a Huddersfield free-kick so I am very disappointed."

He added: "Apart from that there wasn't much in the game, although we huffed and puffed without really making the keeper work.

"We have so many injuries at the moment that it makes life difficult. I look to the bench and there isn't much I can do to change the game."
