Struggling Plymouth snapped a run of three straight defeats and dealt a blow to the play-off ambitions of Milton Keynes Dons with a surprise 3-1 win at stadium:mk.

Kari Arnason, Chris Clark and Onismor Bhasera scored the goals to lift the Pilgrims to 13th in the npower League One table while the Dons - for whom Bhasera also scored an own goal - stay sixth.

Both the night's other League One games ended goalless, with Dave Penney's Bristol Rovers held at home by Hartlepool and promotion-chasing Bournemouth failing to break the deadlock against Rochdale at Spotland.



In League Two, James Collins scored twice for Shrewsbury who moved into the play-off positions with a 3-1 win at Accrington Stanley, while Aldershot saw off Bradford 1-0 with a goal from Anthony Charles.
